Where is my QR code and how do I use it?

On a phone: the button in the middle of the bottom bar. On a laptop: from “My profile”. Show it to the person at the session door, they scan it with the camera, and your attendance is recorded in a second.

Turn the screen brightness up if scanning is slow. If someone photographed your code, make a new one from your profile settings and the old one stops working.

How do I book a session?

In “Sessions” tap “Book a seat”. If the session is full you join the waitlist and get an email when a seat frees up. On the day you get a reminder; come on time with your QR.

How are volunteer hours counted?

When you attend as a volunteer or organizer (not as a regular member), the time from check-in to check-out is added to your balance automatically. Your balance and full history are in “My profile”.

Above 50 hours you become a co-admin, above 100 an admin. Once you have hours you can print a QR-verified volunteer certificate from your profile.

I want to teach a session to my classmates

In «Teach your classmates» pick the group and the class you will teach in, write the title and what you will explain, and record a short voice note explaining part of the topic. You teach at the class time itself (girls in the girls' class, boys in the boys' class); if the group has not booked its class yet, the request is reviewed as usual and goes into the first class. The group team reviews, the admins approve, and your hours come from attending as a volunteer. Follow every step from «My requests» in your profile.

After you teach, the hours are added to your volunteer balance.

What are coins and how do I exchange them?

After every session you attend as a volunteer, you can pick 3 people who attended the same class with you on the «Coins» page, and each of them gets one coin from you. Your coins show on your profile.

In the «Volunteer hours store» on the same page you exchange coins for volunteer minutes that are added to your balance right away, at the everyday price or with the team's offers.

I prepared something for a session. How do I get hours for it?

After the session ends, open «Prep hours» from the menu, pick the session, the kind of work and the hours, upload the file you prepared (slides, a PDF or a video recording) and send. The team reviews it, and once approved the hours are added to your balance.

Most prep you can claim: research and preparing the explanation 2 hours (you must have attended as a volunteer), slides 1.5 hours (at least 10 slides), a quiz or homework 1 hour. If several people did the same work, the time is split between them.
